Hello, wild ones...
In Summer 2022, I founded the nonprofit, Wild Wisdom, Inc. to address the trauma of domestication by primarily acting as a vehicle for the teachings of my body of work, Sanctuary13™.
We currently support a herd of 13 undomesticated horses (and a few other animals) as a model for this work, offering an immersive work-stay program for those in a position to live at the sanctuary and practice in-person.
The long-term vision includes establishing a permanent sanctuary (ideally, in Southern Oregon) to create a year-long program and offer other immersion experiences by outside facilitators, all working various pieces around addressing the trauma of domestication.
We are seeking funding to make the bigger vision possible. If you'd like to learn more, please reach out! For those interested in learning the principles of Sanctuary13™ in a supportive online community, just click the link below.

Mission: To Address the Trauma of Domestication
Wild Wisdom, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit located in Southern Oregon. We are the primary vehicle for offering Ren Hurst's body of work, Sanctuary13™ to the general public, but we have an expanded vision to offer so much more through a permanent sanctuary and experiential immersion facility, as well as a global network of facilitators rewilding humanity in various ways. If you would like to support our vision or just learn more about our work, please reach out or become a patron.
